Our inspiring beginnings
Empowerment for Change began with a shared passion to help others. Both my husband and I faced significant personal struggles early in our lives. My husband bravely overcame addiction and homelessness, while I navigated the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and adult rape. We both experienced low self-esteem and the burden of people-pleasing.
Through faith in God and Jesus, therapy, medication, and reaching out for help, we found healing and strength. Now, we are committed to sharing our testimony and giving back to others who are on their own journey of recovery and self-discovery. We believe in the power of sharing our experiences to light the path for others.
Making a lasting impact
Our books, workshops, and meetups are designed to inspire and empower you to transform your life. We want you to know that God loves you and is with you always. It's okay to embrace self-love and forgive yourself for past experiences. For children, our books build confidence, self-love, and the ability to advocate for themselves.
